Thanks to a suggestion made by a fifth grade student,
Coalition for Animals has received $231.70 in donations from
a school sponsored fundraiser.
When asked by his math teacher what organization should be
selected as a beneficiary for the fundraiser, the student
suggested CFA. The teacher agreed to make our organization
the charitable recipient after doing some research.
On Thursday, June 12th, four fifth-grade math
classes at Auten Road Intermediate School in Hillsborough,
NJ set up stations where students solved math problems in
order to purchase a toy or food item in the amounts of 25¢,
50¢, and 75¢. All of the proceeds were donated to CFA.

visited the Auten Road Intermediate School on June 18th
where she was presented with the check during the math
