We are a small, foster-based, all-volunteer rescue group in northwest NJ that offers rescue, transport and humane care and foster homes to homeless animals. We work to find them loving homes as well as partner with animal shelters and other rescue groups nationwide who will do the same in an attempt to end the killing of these animals due to overpopulation. Concurrently, Gateway Regional Rescue NJ seeks to ensure that all animals are treated humanely by educating the public about the companion animal overpopulation crisis, emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering these animals, and informing about the proper care and treatment of pets.

We are working to establish a community outreach fund which will help people who want to keep their pets but cannot afford either vet care or food as well as those in the community who are caring for feral cats or colonies and we endorse and support Trap Neuter Release for feral cats. We are also in need of temporary foster homes for our rescue animals. Please contact us for more information about our foster care program. We rely on the generosity of donors to fund our rescue and all donations to Gateway Regional Rescue NJ are tax deductible.

Thank you for caring!
